Made/Worn: Australian Contemporary Jewellery
Friday 07 August 2020 to Sunday 16 August 2020
Made/Worn: Australian Contemporary Jewellery is an Australian Design Centre national touring exhibition presenting 22 outstanding contemporary jewellers.
Through the innovative works on display, Made/Worn explores how jewellery is made and how it is worn, the intersections between contemporary art and jewellery, and what happens when jewellery goes beyond the wearable.
The exhibition will explore the materials, making processes and concepts behind the work, including inspiration from materials, place, land, cities, nation-hood, gender identity, culture, belonging, climate change and technology.
