Farquhar Park Camping Ground
Farquhar Park is located at the southern intermittent entrance to the Manning River. It is more than just a top fishing spot, with the beach just a hop, skip and jump away, and the calmer estuary waters just metres from your tent.
Bring your gear for canoeing, swimming, wakeboarding, skiing, surfing, snorkelling, or simply floating around on a li-lo.
Or why not do some off shore exploring? If you have a boat you can motor to one of the surrounding islands for a picnic or try some bushwalking in one of the nearby littoral rainforests.
For bird lovers this area is also home in the summer months to five species of highly endangered and protected birds, including the Little Tern.
Access to this pristine camping area is only by boat, or four wheel drive Manning Point beach at low tide.
