The Lakeside Music Festival is one of the Mid-North Coast’s most vibrant community-based Music events.

A yearly celebration of music, culture and community is held on the first Saturday of November and brings together musical performers, local businesses and producers, volunteers, school students, regional media, tourists and locals alongside some of the region’s biggest musical icons for a day of entertainment and experiences on the banks of the picturesque Wallis Lakes of Forster/Tuncurry.

Showcasing the unique culture and personality of the Barrington Coast, promoting the best local food, wine, live music, workshops and artistic talents, they bring together a variety of eclectic entertainment right to the shores of Forster / Tuncurry’s dazzling blue Wallis Lake.

This family friendly event attracts around 2,500 people, including speciality market stalls.

The Lakeside Festival showcases the finest combination of their regions local culture, local produce, and a mix of local and established musician, street food, local wines and beers, and the opportunity to partake of the many Tourism based activities on offer.

Situated on the Barrington Coast the region offers the ocean, the lakes, the rivers and the hinterland as opportunities for adventure and relaxation.

Mobility

Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)
