The Rous Public School Annual Bonfire night has contributed over four decades of family fun. From humble beginnings as a school tidy-up and family picnic, the Rous Bonfire Night has now evolved into a much-anticipated event, attracting thousands of locals and bringing the community together.
The annual Bonfire Night features delicious food, Chocolate Wheel, BBQ stall with famous pork rolls, fireworks display, tractor rides, raffles and prizes, and not to mention, a huge bonfire.
Although only a small school, Rous Public School is a thriving school which continues to receive huge support from the local community.
