The Quarry Mining Mailrun Charity Bike Ride
Event dates to be confirmed: April 2020
Unfortunately, The Quarry Mining Mailrun has been postponed on the recommendations of the Australian Government and health authorities regarding non-essential, organised gatherings of more than 500 people to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
The Quarry Mining Mailrun is an annual charity bike ride seeing hundreds of cycling enthusiasts traverse the picturesque agricultural landscape of the fertile Hunter Valley along lightly trafficked, tarred roads. The ride begins and concludes at the Singleton Civic Centre, Singleton, New South Wales, attracting riding enthusiasts from all across New South Wales.
There are courses to suit all levels of cyclist’s abilities with 100 kilometre, 65 kilometre, 40 kilometre and 20 kilometre courses. The ride raises funds for Singleton Family Support Scheme (SFSS) which is a not for profit charitable organisation that has supported families in the Singleton local government area for over 30 years. Through the funds raised by The Quarry Mining Mailrun Charity Bike Ride they have been able to positively support and improve the lives of hundreds of local families.
