Dachshtober Longdog Festival aims to bring together owners of sausage dogs from all over the country. This event was initiated to raise awareness and funds for the research of IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) which is prevalent in the Dachshund breed.
This is a fun, family event welcoming visitors and businesses from the local community, the region, the state and beyond.
Join them for The Longdog Dash, fancy dress competitions, stalls with everything 'dogcentric', information, education and an attempt at the world record for the largest number of sausage dogs at one event.
