Outback Arts Creative Arts Centre
Outback Arts is a not-for-profit regional arts organisation supporting all things arts and culture across Far Western NSW.
The Outback Arts Creative Arts Centre hosts eleven exhibitions each year exploring a broad range of media and styles including ceramics, photography, sculpture and installations. These exhibitions are part of touring shows, group shows from artists within the region and solo exhibitions from both local and visiting artists.
The program also includes free and low-cost events that encourage people to come together to collectively participate in arts experiences, nurture creativity and imagination in everyone and inspire learning and understanding.
They work with talented and committed artists, partners and community to deliver programs that promote artistic development and achieve meaningful outcomes.
The centre was purchased in late 2017 and renovated in early 2018 to create an interactive facility for the community including professional gallery spaces, lighting, retail and meeting rooms. The retail area stocks all kinds of goodies from local artists, artisans, ceramicists, crafters, professional designers and makers.
There are also rental spaces available for lease including a collaborative working space, workshop areas and meeting rooms. The community are also invited to always drop by 'the loungeroom' for a chat and cuppa!
