Riding the Lightwave of Technology

Wednesday 26 September 2018 to Friday 28 September 2018

Riding the Lightwave of Technology brings scientists, researchers, community stakeholders, policymakers and industry leaders together to discuss the many aspects and impacts of light pollution and artificial light.

During this three day conference, they will draw on this broad expertise to look beyond the obstacles, and explore pathways to align technology, industry and policy towards sustainable advancements in lighting for the betterment of man-made and natural environments.

The combination of expanding urban growth and cheap energy-efficient lighting is resulting in artificial light at night becoming one of the fastest growing, yet most poorly understood or documented forms of pollution in the world.
