Skywatch Observatory is a large mud brick building with local timber features, set up for you to have privacy and comfort while you view the stars or visit the other attractions of Coonabarabran and the Warrumbungle shire. A fully cooked breakfast and guided tours of the night sky (weather permitting) are included in your booking.
The apartment has two bedrooms main with a queen bed, and the second bedroom has a queen and two single beds. There is also a separate sitting room, bathroom, and courtyard.
You are welcome to use the kitchen, dining room, 18 hole mini golf course, and garden areas.
Guided tours of the night sky from the viewing platform and with the telescopes are included if the weather permits. The observatory houses a 12.5 inch Newtonian Telescope and offers great views of the major planets when they are in the sky.
