The twin towns of Cobram and Barooga sit either side of the mighty Murray River. With wide sandy beaches and towering river gums, Cobram-Barooga offers a relaxed lifestyle amidst the fine agricultural land, rich in fruit and dairy.

Take a picnic lunch to one of the 103 sandy beaches along the Murray River between Yarrawonga and Barmah. Find a quiet spot to cast a fishing line, paddle a canoe through the river red gums, or strap on some waterskis. Prefer to stay on solid ground? Take a walk around Quinn Island and see the abundant wildlife.

Tee off for 36 holes at one of the two championship golf courses at Cobram-Barooga Golf Club, or head to the Barooga Sports Club for a game of bowls with the locals.

Cobram is the largest soft stone fruit-producing area in Australia and is home to the familiar Murray Goulburn - Devondale brand. Stock up on strawberries, cheese, stone fruit and citrus along the farm gate trail and sample award winning wines at winery cellar doors throughout the region.
