Hogfest is an on-farm event that showcases Bundarra Berkshires, their free range heritage breed pork farm at Barham. Guests are taken on a farm and butchery tour when they arrive, followed by local wine matched with a long table degustation lunch of local food focused around traditionally cooked pork from the farm including porchetta and smoked ribs, charcuterie and locally sourced vegetable and salads. Local live musicians play during lunch and the highlight of the day is a peer judged salami competition of locally and regionally made salamis by amateurs and non-commercial makers. Hogfest is essentially a celebration of the season and what makes life in the country so good.
