Sturt is the oldest design centre in Australia set amidst historic studios and gardens, treasured as a centre of excellence for Australian contemporary craft.

The multi-award-winning design shop, gallery, garden cafe and craft studios showcase a superb collection of Australian contemporary craft representing over 300 makers, supporting them in their practice.

Sturt is home to Australia's finest furniture school and renowned pioneering Sturt Pottery. Ceramics, fine furniture and jewellery are made on-site by resident craftspeople while outstanding workshops continue to inspire generations of makers.

The gallery delivers outstanding free exhibitions year-round and the picturesque garden cafe is a must-visit for creative lovers heading to the Southern Highlands.
