Baking Essentials - Tarts and Tortes Cooking Class

This is a class that introduces you to the basics of not only Italian baking, but a foundation for all desserts. They will concentrate on the basic techniques of Shortcrust pastry, pastry cream, genovese sponge, dacqiouse and mousseline creams.
A little bit of science and a lot of fun, the class has been re - designed with focus on hands on, with careful instruction from chef Melina
They will produce four different tarts and four Gateaux. Each student will roll their own pastry and help assemble the tortes.
