WomDomNom is a 4 day paddle down the 156km of the Macquarie River. Starting in Wellington and following the Macquarie River through Dubbo and into Narromine. It is designed to be recreational paddle, with an emphasis to encourage safe paddling on the Macquarie River.
It is a fully supported paddle, with your camping equipment transported between camping spots. All meals and soft drinks are provided over the 4 days, and you will be on the water for roughly 6 hours per day.
Why "WomDomNom"? It stands for Wellington on Macquarie (Wom), Dubbo on Macquarie (Dom), Narromine on Macquarie (Nom).
Day 1, paddlers will start form Oxley Park Reserve and travel 21km and camp at Ponto Falls. Day 2, paddlers travel 54km and camp at Lazy River. Day 3, paddlers travel 45km and camp at Dickygundi. Day 4, paddlers travel 36km and conclude at Narromine Rotary Park.
