Made in Wello

Made in Wello is a Social Enterprise, for the community of Wellington.

It is a place where local Artisans and Crafters have an opportunity to display and sell their crafts.

To keep running costs to a minimum, volunteers who give their time to run the shop, on a roster system, attract a discount on commission charged. The running costs of the shop are financed by the commission on sales and with the generosity of their Community and Jespresso Coffee Co.

By displaying the wide variety of art and craft, all made locally, they are promoting Wellington to the wider communities and tourists, whilst keeping money local.

They offer Workshops, Classes, Demonstrations, Displays, Social Events, Morning teas and Weekly Craft Class.
They are always seeking local artists, ceramicists, potters, sculptors, woodworkers, needleworkers, and any other crafters of handmade items, to join and add to their growing Social Enterprise.

They’d love to see you in store for a browse; to find that special gift, share your talent or learn a new one!

Bookings in-store essential, phone them. Places are often limited. Events will only proceed with a minimum of three bookings. Schedule subject to change.
