Tempeh is a frugal traditional Indonesian/Malaysian soy product, that is made from fermented soybeans. It is made by a natural culturing and controlled fermentation process that binds soybeans into a cake form.

During this two-hour class, you will learn lots about tempeh, the healthy and delicious fermented bean cake that can be cooked, roasted, baked or eaten raw with a good sauce. You will learn how to make your own tempeh at home and save yourself lots of money by doing so. We will be using either organic soybeans, chickpeas, green peas, edamame, black beans or a mix of everything, along with infusions of superfoods like flax seeds, wakame, herbs and flowers.

At the end of this hands-on cooking class, you will be able to take home your tempeh to enjoy at home and feel confident recreating this delicious plant-based delight.
