The Wellington Visitor Information Centre is located in the beautiful, award winning Cameron Park in the centre of Wellington. The Centre is an accredited Information Centre and was first opened in 1971. The centre has recently moved into the more spacious and adjoining 'old Library'.
The Wellington Visitor Information Centre offers a wide variety of local and regional tourist information along with a range of local produce and souvenirs.
The friendly and experienced staff at the centre can advise visitors on accommodation, things to see and do, where to eat, and are happy to relay the history of Wellington.
