Bourke Visitor Information Centre
The Back of Bourke is more than a geographic location, it's part of the Australian language, part of the folklore.
Be you a photographer, naturalist, historian, reader of bush literature, bird watcher, visitor from overseas or just an Aussie looking to discover your roots, pack up your swag and come 'Back o' Bourke'
The best way to really get your bearings in Bourke is to start at the Tourist Information Centre. A highly informative display will orient you to Bourke's past and present and the friendly staff there will help you with all the necessary information to make your stay enjoyable.
The centre offers travellers general information, including road reports, weather reports and do it yourself Mud Map tours, you may have heard of in the past. We have a great selection of souvenirs for sale and a great display of photos and history of the Bourke district.
