Lake Glenbawn State Park is located 157 kilometres north-west of Newcastle and 15 kilometres east of Scone.

Park features include: Lake Glenbawn, Museum of Rural Life, kiosk, milk bar, barbecues, picnic sites, shelter sheds, toilets and showers, caravan/camping, cabins/villas.

The park is great for barbecues and picnics, or bushwalks and other recreation in a natural setting. For weekend or longer stays, holiday cabins and camp sites offer breathtaking views and there are many recreation facilities.

Nearest hotel/motel accommodation is at Scone.
