Attraction - Aboriginal NSW, Building and Structure, Museum Muswellbrook Local and Family History Society volunteers man Weidmann Cottage on Saturday mornings 9.30am to 12.30pm as a Historical Museum. Weidmann Cottage was built in the 1840's and owned by the Weidmann Family from 1891-1977 as a family home and butchery.
The society sells books and souvenirs of historical interest, as well as providing displays of local information and memorabilia. Research can be undertaken in person for a small fee or a research officer is available to undertake research of local family history.
The society meets 3rd Tuesday of month at 7.00pm at Muswellbrook Library next to the Cottage.
