Lagoon and Lagoon Beach The - Natural The Lagoon is a beautiful expanse of calm turquoise water enclosed by a six-kilometre long coral reef on the western side of the island. It is a haven for snorklers with coral patches just metres from the shoreline in some places. A few boats are anchored here and there’s always a glass-bottom boat exploring the brilliant coral or circling Blackburn Island at the outer reef. Lagoon Beach is a golden sand arc stretching about 3 km from the jetty to the rolling greens of the island’s golf club. | | Contact Details: Lagoon and Lagoon Beach The Lord Howe Island Visitor Centre Lord Howe Island, NSW 2898 Toll Free: 1800 240 937 Telephone: 02 - 6563 2114
