Come and visit their Uluru.
Ngurra Bu, 'meaning little lore camp' is a not for profit organisation whose mission is to teach and share Aboriginal culture to ensure that it continues being the oldest living culture on earth. They operate as a social enterprise meaning that they trade (by offering tours) to raise money for camps for Aboriginal people disconnected from their culture, and community and school programs for young people. Profits generated by the tours also create employment opportunities for Aboriginal people.
Join the experienced Aboriginal guides as they share their knowledge of the culturally significant sites of Hunter Wine Country. The Wollombi and Broke Valleys are home to numerous ceremony and lore sites. Their tag along tours follow the traditional ceremonial journey to share the stories including why Mount Yengo is as significant to East Coast Aboriginal people as Uluru is to the Central Desert people.
