Learn to surf in Newcastle or Lake Macquarie, with Newcastle Surf School!

Newcastle Surf School's fully qualified, professional staff are accredited by Surfing Australia, and all coaches having years of surfing experience. They will make sure your time in the water is fun and safe.

Beginner lessons will learn about surf awareness and surf safety, as well as learning how to ride a surfboard.

Intermediate lessons cover how to turn a surfboard, how to take off and how to drop down a forming wave.

Advanced classes include technique improvement with video, contest strategies and fitness training.

Lessons run for two hours.

    All surf school activities are covered by Surfing Australia Insurance.

    Classes are run at Nobbys Beach, Caves Beach and Blacksmiths Beach.

    Lesson times are 9am, 11am and 2pm. They also offer private lessons to suit your needs.

    Special cruises and itineraries operate on selected dates
