Man from Kangaroo Valley Trail Ride

The Mountain Trail Rides climb through lush rainforest on Mount Moollootoo which overlooks the property. From the peak of Mount Moollootoo, there are panoramic views of Morton National Park and the Kangaroo River that make a perfect backdrop for photographs of cowboys and cowgirls on horseback.

Kangaroo Valley Horse Riding have put together a herd of outstanding horses. Only about a third of the horses they trial meet their standards for all around suitability, with the selection criteria emphasising safety and performance. Each horse is ridden and trained by staff for approximately three months in all conditions and each must pass a rigorous selection process. They have also incorporated several cantering areas for the skilled and adventurous, and rides are organised so that the novice can feel secure under the guidance of experienced trail leaders.
