Experience the beauty and wilds of the Kosciuszko National Park in comfort, with the luxury of local guides sharing intimate knowledge and the hassle of carrying equipment being tended to by the Kosciuszko Alpine Guided Walks staff.

You will be led through outlying alpine terrain to a prepared campsite with creature comforts including personal tents and rolled out bedding ready for your weary body. Don't lift a finger, a hearty meal will be prepared while you relax, soak up the sunset and easy conversation around a star covered campsite.

Hewn out of granite by colliding rivers of ice, this is Kosciuszko National Park's deepest glacial lake.

    The final 800 metres of trail ascends steadily on a paved trail, although the last few hundred metres to Charlotte Pass is sometimes known as heartbreak hill, but it's worth it.

  • Multi Peaks and Glacial Lakes A one night and two day hike. Follow a meandering trail from Guthega Village through A one night and two day hike. Follow a meandering trail from Guthega Village through sup-alpine terrain to a suspension bridge crossing the mighty Snowy River. A long ascent through a variation of terrain and vegetation leads to Mount Twynam, the country's third highest peak. Descend into the upper Blue Lake cirque and onwards to the deep, cold waters of the lake itself.

    On day two, depart camp following the Old Summit Road to Rawson's Pass before reaching the summit of Mt Kosciuszko via the stone shelter, 'Seamans Hut'. On return, descent to glacial Lake Cootapatamba via South Kosciuszko Ridge and climb to the high ground of the Ramsheads. The grade is hard and requires a good level of fitness.

    Day Two

    From camp stroll to Rawson's Pass before winding your way up to Mount Kosciuszko. Experience the peculiarity of the granite tors and stunning snow gums as you descend through the alpine forest to Dead Horse Gap and a well earned lunch before the leisurely trip back to Lake Crackenback Resort.
