• Bush Survival Course This overnight two day camping course is for people who want to survive when exploring This overnight, two day camping course is for people who want to survive when exploring wilderness regions. It will teach you how to avoid embarrassing, or even life-threatening, situations. The emphasis is on learning, rather than surviving, so you practice skills that you will need in an emergency.
  
  This course includes how to navigate by the sun, moon and stars, make your own compass and sundial, prepare plant foods and medicines, preserve meat (fresh for weeks without a fridge!), light a fire without matches (many different ways!), find water and purify it by natural means, build survival shelters to keep you warm, dry and safe - test it without a sleeping bag!, make your own rope for emergency situations, survive a bushfire.

• Empress Canyon (no abseiling experience required) Probably the best beginner/intermediate canyon in the Blue Mountains.In the morning do five 15 and Probably the best beginner/intermediate canyon in the Blue Mountains.
  
  In the morning, do five, 15 and 30 metre abseils. These abseils are done on cliff edges looking out into the Blue Mountains national park. After lunch, head into the canyon where you walk, wade, swim, climb over boulders and water jumps.
  
  At the end of the canyon is a 30 metre water fall. High n Wild will set up the ropes and you abseil through the waterfall in order to exit the canyon. The hike back up to the top takes about 30 minutes.
  
  Reasonably fitness is required.

• Half Day Abseiling Adventure The day starts with a thorough introduction to equipment and technique with plenty of time The day starts with a thorough introduction to equipment and technique, with plenty of time to 'learn the ropes' on the High n Wild three - five metre high practise slopes. At your leisure you continue with 15 - 30 metre abseils at their Mini Jump site. That's about 10 storeys high. Do as many abseils as you want! The setting in beautiful bushland, makes for a great introductory adventure.

  You will climb novice-friendly cliffs under the professional supervision of your qualified climbing instructors. They will explain the finer techniques of climbing and show you how to climb efficiently. The emphasis of this day is on 'let's have fun' and 'learn as you climb'. It's also an excellent way for a group of friends to discover the thrill of climbing.
  
  If you like it, you can follow it up with a one or two day rock climbing tour, private instruction or guided climbs.
