Cooly Dive is a Padi scuba diving and snorkel business operating from the beautiful Northern Rivers on the Queensland border at Coolangatta.

Or, head out on a snorkelling adventure with Cooly Dive and snorkel with the turtles at the Cook Island Marine Reserve - just 20 minutes by boat from Coolangatta/Tweed Heads.

  • Discover Scuba Diving The Discover Scuba Diving Course takes half a day, during this time you will have The Discover Scuba Diving Course takes half a day, during this time you will have a short theory session, where you will learn some basic knowledge and skills about diving and the equipment you will be using.

    When you first jump in the water at the Cook Island Marine Reserve, your instructor will run you through five in-water skills and get you comfortable in the water before descending down for your dive.

    The dive takes around 30 to 35 minutes with a maximum depth of 12 metres. Your experienced guide/instructor will show you the magic of Cook Island, where you will see green sea turtles, tropical and non tropical fish, beautiful hard and soft corals, sea anemones, clown fish and much more!

  • Snorkel Tours Cook Island plays host to an abundance of soft and hard coral gardens with lion Cook Island plays host to an abundance of soft and hard coral gardens with lion fish, groper and everybody's favourite little Nemo's (clown fish). Green turtles are abundant all year round, with the occasional loggerhead and hawks bill turtles also hanging around in this turtle sanctuary.

    This is a must do for the whole family or anyone who wants an adventure. If by chance one of the family does not want to go snorkelling, they can enjoy the boat ride and the view and be ready with the towels when you climb back on board.

    Tour includes: mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, flotation devices, an experienced instructor and light refreshments.
