Learning to sail can be a daunting experience, however with a lesson from the guys at Balmoral Sailing School you’ll discover that the whole process can be easier than you might think. This place runs classes for all different skill levels so whether you’re just a beginner, or if you’ve got a little more experience, they’ll have a class that suits you. Your vessel will be the very impressive Hobie Catamaran and they’ll teach you the ropes in just a couple of 2 hour lessons. By the end of the day you’ll know how to steer, sail a short course, basic boat controls and what to do if your Hobie capsizes. It won’t be long before you find yourself confidently skimming across the beautiful Sydney Harbour solo.

You’ll find learning to sail to be an extremely pleasurable experience, especially with the beautiful Balmoral Beach as your classroom. Kids as young as 6 can have a go, so why not make it a day the whole family can enjoy.
