Surf schools in NSW
With more accessible surf beaches than anywhere else in Australia, the New South Wales coast is great for surfing. It's the best place in Australia to learn to surf with accredited surf schools up and down the coast of NSW. Make sure you know where to surf safely when you're on holiday in NSW and always surf with a mate.
The NSW coastline is a remarkable 1,590 km with 990 km of beautiful sandy beaches. The bonus for surfers is that the Pacific Ocean and the Tasman Sea work together to deliver some of the most consistent swells in the country.
Luckily for surfers, and anyone who loves the beach, NSW has some of the most consistent surf conditions in the country. It is home to nine national surfing reserves, and has many learn-to-surf schools, surf safaris and surfing events. Find out where you can learn to surf at accredited surf schools along the coast of NSW. Find out more from The Academy of Surfing Instructors and Surf the Coast.
