Great waves around Narooma

The Batemans Marine Park stretches along the Eurobodalla Coast, from Batemans Bay to Narooma. If you enjoy water sports, you'll find plenty of ways to enjoy this beautiful coastline. Check the waves at Congo and Potato Point before the breakwall at Narooma. Further south are camel Rock and Bunga.


Beaches around Narooma

Narooma and its lazy, winding river
 and beautiful beaches were made for summer holidays. The seas around Montague Island, just 11 km off Narooma, 
teem with marine life making the island a haven for sea birds and seals, best explored on a cruise from Narooma. 

The coastline around Narooma has calm bays for kids and families, ocean beaches with waves for experienced surfers only and many fine beaches for everyone else to enjoy

If you want to learn to surf, there are some great beaches around Narooma with accredited surf schools. Surf beaches include Kianga Reef, Dalmeny Beach and Jemisons Beach at Potato Point, and One Tree Point at Tuross Head, all north of Narooma. 1080 Mystery Bay has to be one of the beaches in Australia with the coolest name - it's 12 km south of Narooma.

There are also many family-friendly beaches in and around Narooma. You'll find safe swimming conditions, warm paddling channels and rockpools teeming with marine life at beaches such as Bar Beach, Narooma and Mystery Bay. Have a snorkelling adventure in the beautiful clear waters off Narooma.
