The coastline that sweeps north and south along the Coffs Harbour Coast has plenty of beach styles to suit all tastes. There are sandy-bottomed point breaks that can handle big swells, and beach breaks for all swimming and surfing styles. If you're keen to learn to surf, there's no better place to learn with protected coves and harbours for beginners.

The Coffs Coast is a popular beach holiday for families - and there are some great beaches where kids can swim in sheltered bays and rockpools. Many have excellent facilities such as BBQs, playgrounds and beach showers. Check out Diggers Beach, Park Beach - Coffs Harbour's main surf beach has a reserve that's very popular with families - and Sawtell Beach.

North of Coffs Harbour is a string of stunning beaches - Sapphire Beach, Emerald and Woolgoolga Beach. Corindi and Arrawarra beaches are at the northern-most edge of the Coffs Coast.
