Perisher is the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere. During the warmer months, it’s also a popular spot for bushwalkers, mountain bikers, and nature enthusiasts, and it’s no wonder; the views here are truly spectacular.
Perisher is set in a valley in the Snowy Mountains below Mount Perisher. The area is made up of four resorts, Perisher Valley, Blue Cow, Smiggin Holes and Guthega. Peak ski season runs from July to August, when temperatures get as low as -5 degrees Celcius. Perisher is accessible by car and also via the Skitube Alpine Railway.
Perisher accommodation gives you plenty of options, whether you’re after an all-inclusive lodge or want to keep things simple. Whether you’re traveling with a large group or keen for a romantic getaway, there are plenty of hotels, motels, resort-style accommodation and self-contained options.Perisher on VisitNSW.com
