The Coal and Allied Singleton Art Prize is a major annual event on the cultural calendar of Singleton with a prize pool of over AUD18,500. On average 600 works are hung and all are for sale. This major Singleton event is organised by a committee of The Rotary Club of Singleton on Hunter.

In conjunction with this year's Coal and Allied Art Prize, The Hunter Region sculptors will be holding a parallel exhibition at the Singleton Sisters of Mercy Convent and Sacred Spaces Fine Music will be holding a Jazz Concert with Lisa Kinna and the Terence Koo Trio 'Swingin' at the Convent' Sunday 20 July at 2pm.

A two day artist workshop is being held by Terry Jarvis on 19 and 20 July, all are welcome, any age from beginners to very experienced. Bookings are essential, contact Wendy 65712055 or Gwen 65721247
