Good food begins in the ground on the NSW south coast. Join author and foodie Jackie French at Moruya Riverside Markets on Saturday as the region's food producers gather to showcase their wares alongside cooking demonstrations and all kinds of gastronomic revelry. Saturday night's River Feast will celebrate the slow food philosophy - local organic produce lovingly prepared by the region's chefs, convivial tables under the stars, wonderful live music and dancing. Explore the joys of organic food growing at Sunday's field day where back-yarders and semi-commercial growers will learn how to grow and prepare their own vegetables, fruit and livestock and how to thoroughly enjoy the benefits of consuming it slowly.
