The Nelson Bay Produce markets are launching in March 2012. This market is a project of Nelson Bay and District Business Chamber working with the Lions Club of Soldiers Point.
The market will include fresh produce stalls with items like fresh local honey, fruit, vegetables, plants, and a range of creative industries items. Creative Industries are handmade local items, there will be no imported products rather elegant handmade jewellery, bags, candles, paintings, craft goods and more. Creative Industries products will go through a selection process to ensure that the products are of high quality and are handmade.
The market will offer kids activities such as face painting, craft and amusements.
