Planes Trains and Submarines Festival
March 2013 - To be confirmed
*** Latest event details are yet to be confirmed ***
The Holbrook Planes, Trains and Submarines Festival is a fun day out for the whole family. The festival is held annually in March in the picturesque Ten Mile Creek Gardens in the centre of Holbrook.
The unusually named festival pays tribute to the oddity that is Holbrook, a small rural town that is home to planes, trains (albeit a miniature one!), and the traffic stopping HMAS Otway Submarine that resides in the centre of town.
The festival is a showcase of local attractions. There are market stalls and entertainment from whip cracking to poisonous snake displays, a photography competition and the Show n Shine that celebrates everything vehicular.
Take a stroll along the HMAS Otway in its final resting spot, visit Holbrook's Airpark and see ultra light planes in action, or take a ride on the Miniature Railway as Holbrook celebrates the annual Planes, Trains and Submarines Festival.
