Murray River International Music Festival

The Murray River International Music Festival commenced in 2003 and features outstanding Australian and Italian musicians performing along the Murray River accompanied by regional food and wine.

Acclaimed international musicians will perform in a range of venues and locations in Mildura, Wentworth and Ouyen before travelling to Broken Hill and Balranald in NSW and locations in South Australia and Victoria.

The exciting 2013 program includes performances by Claudia Lopez, Gianfranco Bortolato, and Michele Benuzzi on the Opening Night at Ampelon Gardens in Mildura. Enjoy a picnic under the shaded bower of a setting sun in the heavenly gardens while being transported by three virtuoso musicians.

The program also offers performances by Miwako Abe, violin and Anthony Halliday, on the Mildura Arts Centre's new Steinway piano, a spectacular duo concert on Thursday the 24th January at the new Mildura Arts Centre Theatre.
