Ironfest was 'an Arts Festival with a Metal Edge', celebrating working and playing with metal held in Lithgow, but then Covid.
Five years after its last event in 2019 the Ironfest Makers Expo, now held at the historic Foundations in Portland site on the last weekend of April is 'making' a comeback.
What to expect: artists, scrap metal art, designer/makers, blacksmiths, dancers, musicians, LARPers, steampunks, Cosplayers; historical re-enactors (but no large-scale battle re-enactments this year), wrestlers, historical machinery, show cars, machine (robot) enthusiasts and much more.
