Crookwell Potato Festival

The Crookwell Potato Festival is a great event, held on the first week in March every year. The festival starts on the Friday night with the Art Gallery opening, Night of Proms held at St Bartholomewes Church with entertainment from the Wagga Wagga City Rugby Male Choir and the Camden Community Band followed by a chicken and champagne supper.
Event highlights include country music from Crookwell's own "Alice Plumb" and The Corby's, Geoff the Chef cooking up some spuds, potato food and bush poetry.
Other activities will include the Liverpool Brass Band and the Goulburn Soldiers Pipe Band, bush poetry, market stalls, vintage car static displays, book sales, quilt displays, Country Women's Association (CWA) displays and lots more.
Get a team together to compete in the "Spudlympics". Take a tour on the bus to a potato farm and pick your own.
