Cooly Rocks On is a nostalgia 50s and 60s Rock ‘n Roll Festival to be held in Tweed Heads and Coolangatta in June each year. The inaugural Festival was held in June 2011 and what a fantastic first festival it was ... 70,000 visitors!
Now it's full steam ahead creating Cooly Rocks On 2012. Plans are bigger and better with some great new innovations for next year which will add fresh pieces to the mix of the rock 'n' roll, dancing, jive, street parade and hot rods, custom and classic car aspects of the Festival. Many events are free; some are in the streets while others are in the local clubs and shopping centre.
Cooly Rocks On will be in June 2012, so lock it in, get your annual leave approved and book your accommodation before it books out!
