Nowhere is the ancient art of ceramics more celebrated than at 'Clay Push' a tri-annual event in the historic Mudgee Region town of Gulgong.

With around 40 events over a week, Clay Push is one of the biggest ceramic art festivals in Australia and attracts hundreds of people with an interest in ceramics from professionals to hobby potters. Talks, demonstrations, exhibitions and special events will take place at various venues in Gulgong, which once again will become the hub of the ceramic world.

Gulgong, just 15 minutes' drive from Mudgee, was a thriving goldmining town in the 1800s and is now home to many world-renowned ceramic artists who enjoy its spectacular natural landscapes and some of the best and most unique clay in Australia.

International artists from Brazil, USA, Thailand, Korea, France, Sweden and New Zealand, as well as Australian artists, will lead the workshop presentations.
