The legacy of Ben Chifley is celebrated each year in his home town of Bathurst at the annual Light on the Hill Dinner. His words have come to epitomise Labor values.

This years address will be delivered by Anthony Albanese. Past Light on the Hill speakers have included the then Prime Minister Julia Gillard, then Treasurer Wayne Swan, and current leader of the Opposition Bill Shorten. Tickets for the 2015 Light On the Hill dinner are on sale now.
