The Binda Picnic Races are held annually at the property 'Funny Hill' in Binda. The Funny Hill racecourse has been active since 1874 and is one of the oldest courses in Australia still in operation.
It is a great day out for the whole family with entertainment continuing into the night in Crookwell.
Buses run from Crookwell township to the races throughout the day so you can sit back eat, drink, bet and hopefully choose a winner!
Bus tickets sell out quickly so get in early. Tent/gazebo sites are also available however there are limited numbers and bookings are essential.
It is suggested you take your own supplies, such as seating, food and drinks, though a bar and barbecue is in operation. There is also a fashion of the fields competition for the ladies.
