Ardlethan "German" Beer and Wine Festival

The menu on offer will include crispy roasted pork belly, authentic wiener frankfurts, sauerkraut sautéed in bacon, apple strudel and cream and a specialty of Bavaria; the savoury onion tart.

Organisers will also be serving traditional pretzels, not the little ones found in packets at the supermarkets, but the super large variety fresh baked and served with butter.

A feature of the evening will be the folk dancers, who have performed at many events interstate as well as throughout NSW and will be performing the slap-dancing so well known to everyone who has been to German festivals in the past. Maria Hunter, from Barmedman will also be performing on the night. Maria has yodelled her way through many festivals and is sure to add to the overall festivities.
