The Lilac City Festival is Australia's longest continuously-run community festival that has been enjoyed by generations of Goulburn families as well as visitors to Goulburn who come specifically to soak up the atmosphere of this unique festival.
The Official Opening will occur on Saturday in Belmore Park. There is also a huge fireworks display along with live entertainment on Saturday night at Seiffert Oval.
The festival procession is on Sunday and marches along Auburns Street. The Lilac Festival Queen will be crowned on Monday in Belmore Park.
Other festival activities include: Judged Civic Business Display, Street Procession and Carnival, Children's Activities, Bush Dance, Irish Music and Dancers, Scarecrow Competition, Markets, Music Entertainment, Dance Performances and Open Gardens.
