Built in the early 1880's, Dawn Fraser Baths is the oldest pool in Australia and home to both the Balmain Water Polo and Swimming clubs. Both are the oldest of their kind and operate weekly through the season.

The baths is a tidal flow salt water harbour pool. At low tide there is a beach for children to build sandcastles. The kiosk serves hot food, snacks and ice creams.

Water Quality - After heavy rain, the pool, like other swimming locations such as beaches, may be closed if the water quality is not to standard.

The Baths are available for after hours function hire (conditions apply). So too is a marquee, prices on application. A great location for a unique and memorable way to celebrate an occasion and create an atmosphere with a difference.

The season commences the start of Daylight Saving (October) to the end of Daylight Savings (April).

Does not cater for people with access needs.
