Ulladulla Beach - Narrawallee
Narrawallee Beach in Ulladulla faces a bit northeast and is a long, flat expanse of sand much loved by joggers and beach-combers. The north end is popular with experienced surfers and works well with a decent northeast swell and light westerly (or lighter southerly) winds.
The delightful river inlet at the north end is a beautiful spot for day picnics and swimming with the family, best at high tide for a dip but great all day, and for roaming around without getting sand-whipped from the summer sea breezes.
The handful of residential homes here barely constitutes a village, but the bright lights of Mollymook are just a few minutes’ drive away. Almost the entire two-kilometres of Narrawallee Beach is backed by Narrawallee Creek Nature Reserve so it enjoys a lush bush setting worth exploring.
