About Sawpit Creek
Located just 15 km from Australia's largest ski resort, Perisher, Sawpit Creek is midway between Jindabyne and Perisher Valley. At 1200m altitude and located five km inside Kosciuszko National Park, it's a great place to enjoy the natural Australian bush and alpine wilderness areas. Sawpit Creek provides alternative acommodation to the bigger ski lodges of nearby snow resorts at Perisher, Thredbo and Charlotte Pass.

In summer, you can explore the scenic beauty of the Snowy Mountains. The Discovery Program at Kosciuszko National Park’s Education Centre in Jindabyne operates from December until January when it's a great time of the year to explore one fo the world's great national parks. You can enjoy sailing on Lake Jindabyne, fishing, boating and swimming. Don't miss a hike to the summit of Mount Kosciuszko, admire Sawpit Creek waterfall or meander along the pretty Thredbo River. Other Snowy Mountains town nearby include Guthega and Smiggin Holes.
