Located just 15 km from Australia's largest ski resort, Perisher, Sawpit Creek is midway between Jindabyne and Perisher Valley. At 1200m altitude and located five km inside Kosciuszko National Park, it's a great place to enjoy the natural Australian bush and alpine wilderness areas. You can enjoy sailing on Lake Jindabyne, fishing, boating and swimming. Don't miss a hike to the summit of Mount Kosciuszko, admire Sawpit Creek waterfall or meander along the pretty Thredbo River. Other Snowy Mountains town nearby include Guthega and Smiggin Holes.
