About

Sponars Chalet is situated at 1500 metres altitude in the Kosciuszko National Park, seven kilometres from Perisher. It is an historic, well known landmark, a traditional ski lodge offering a unique snow holiday. Sponars sits on the site of the original Kosciuszko Hotel whose Grand Slam Ski run was the first commercial ski slope in the Snowy Mountains.

Sponars offers the best value hotel accommodation in the snow, accommodating 100 guests in comfort. Sponars has a free carpark for guests - each morning either drive to the resort or catch the courtesy bus to Perisher Blue.

After skiing all day have a swim in the heated pool and a session in the steam room followed by a cocktail at the bar. Relax around the open fireplace before enjoying a hearty three course dinner. The children will be looked after in the Kids Club in shoulder and peak seasons.

The double and twin rooms are warm and comfortable and have en suite bathrooms. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided and the rooms are serviced daily. All rooms have clock radios and pleasant outlooks.
