Kosciuszko National Park activities
Kosciuszko National Park is an alpine environment that attracts nature-lovers with a range of adventure activities in summer and winter.
A scenic drive along the Kosciuszko Alpine Way takes you through some of Australia's most dramatic scenery, making it a wonderful summer touring route. Take a guided walk through the park and learn about the rare alpine plants that are found nowhere else on the planet. Don't miss a hike to the top of Australia's highest mountain, Kosciuszko peak, an inspiring one-day walk.
Many of the mountain lakes and streams are stocked with trout- grab a NSW fishing licence and try your luck at Lake Jindabyne, Lake Eucumbene and the Thredbo River.
During winter, enjoy cross-country skiing, snowboarding, down-hill skiing and snow-shoe adventures at the four major snow resorts in NSW - Charlotte Pass, Thredbo, Perisher and Selwyn Snowfields.
